Join Verismo Opera for a concert version of beloved opera choruses! This performance features highlights from great works such as La traviata, Norma, and Carmen, as well as pieces from less well known gems. From the drama of Dido and Aeneas to the wit of Pirates of Penzance, you will find joy, sorrow, and inspiration in this delightful program.

"Libiamo" from La traviata (Verdi); "Casta diva" from Norma (Bellini); "Va Pensiero" from Nabucco (Verdi); "Habanera" from Carmen (Bizet); "Anvil Chorus" from Il trovatore (Verdi)' Dido's Lament and "With Drooping Wings" from Dido and Aeneas (Purcell)

Verismo Opera makes opera accessible to the public at reasonable prices through a cooperative effort of professional singers, instrumentalists and artists. Supertitles in English are offered at each venue. Performances include costumes, sets, and chamber orchestra in intimate settings.
We perform popular operas such as: Carmen, La Boheme, Madame Butterfly, Il Trovatore, La Traviata and Tosca as a contribution to the performing arts. Some of our favorite opera composers include: Verdi, Puccini, Bizet, Donizetti, Wagner and Mozart.
