2026 CALL FOR ARTISTS

Call for Artists:

Puccini's Tosca September 12th through 27th 2026  (performances Saturdays 7pm and Sundays at 3pm - rehearsals Sat and Sun afternoons July 18-September 6th)

-Click here by May 10th to let us know that you would like to participate and to arrange an audition. If we have heard you sing before, an audition may not be necessary. Edit May 19 - One or more spots for the following roles are still available: Sacristan(baritone or mezzo), Sciarrone (bass or contralto), Spoletta (tenor or soprano), Jailer (any), Chorus (all parts)

-Roles triple cast.  Some roles will be cast with alternate genders. Performances include costumes, supertitles, and orchestra.

-All Tosca performances held at The Mira Theatre Guild in Vallejo.

-All roles are volunteer. Principals must be available to cover all performances as well as volunteer in front of house for one or two shows. 

We appreciate and thrive with the assistance of volunteers.  We have opportunities for:  singers (soloists and chorus), instrumentalists, directors, supertitle operators, public relations, stage managers, administrative tasks, volunteer coordinators, set designers and costumers.  Contact us at verismo.opera.ca@gmail.com
